Exhibition at The Forum- March 2011
The Khazana exhibition that took place at the Forum from the 25th 27th March 2011 was a huge success and was met with an overwhelming response from the public. The event was a good platform to market the rural handicrafts that the women artisans of Khazana have been working day and night to put together. IRC had brought the artisans to Karachi so that they could see firsthand how well their efforts were being appreciated. The exhibition showcased mostly Sindhi handicrafts such as patchwork (rilli), hand embroidered clothes, table-mats, coasters, baskets made from khajji tree bark and ceramic items from Multan.
Exhibition at The Forum – November 2011
Following the success of the exhibition held in March, Khazana once again held an exhibition at the Forum on the 25th, 26th and 27th of March 2011. Like the previous exhibition, this one was also a success. Many new products were introduced thus increasing the variety of products on display. The customers included many of Khazana’s old buyers as well as new ones who flocked to get a hold of their favorite
